James Dewhurst have multiple locations worldwide to fill the demand for technical textile manufacturing around the globe. Our locations are spread out between Asia, the United States, and Europe.
The location that started it all is based in Altham, Lancashire, UK. Upon the opening of James Dewhurst in 1933, the Altham branch slowly made its way from a one-man innovator to a fully-staffed textile manufacturing factory.
After receiving an increase in demand for products such as Dewtex, James Dewhurst opened its first stateside textile manufacturing plant in Toccoa, Georgia in 2004. As James Dewhurst continued to increase its scrim offerings, the US-based plant was able to keep up and expand product reach further west.
At James Dewhurst, we take pride in our dedicated technical experience with woven, laid, and laminated textiles. It’s our job to work closely with our customers on a variety of new projects not only as suppliers, but as developers. This involves getting to know you and your project needs inside and out, so that we can dedicate ourselves to creating the ideal solution for you.
