James Dewhurst has been weaving fabrics for over 80 years. We have a dedicated technical team with experience of running looms experience who design our technical fabric solutions to be efficient on our processes and our customers’ processes.
James Dewhurst has a bespoke technology for manufacturing laid scrims. Our production machines are specified and designed in house with proven manufacturing capabilities. Constructions are typically more open than woven fabrics.
James Dewhurst has designed and built its own laminating capabilities which enable us to laminate the fabrics we manufacture to any non-woven fabric, including glass, polyethylene, polypropylene and cellulose tissues at a wide variety of weights.
